I have been looking for a bluetooth to 3.5mm adapter that accepts mic input and doesn't use a built-in mic.

All the adapters that I have seen so far either do not accept mic input at all, or have built-in mic.

I would like to be able to use a shokz headset on an Ultrapak Eartec unit.

It's basically uses a 3.5mm mic in to a 2.5mm audio out.

Is there any bluetooth transceiver that does this?

Is there something in the bluetooth specifications that forbids the external mic setup?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
