Just passed D080 and wanted to share what helped me since I see a lot of people struggling with this one.

Background This course covers a ton of material: globalization, trade agreements, market entry strategies, financial institutions, organizational structures, cultural dimensions, supply chain, ethics, and more. It felt overwhelming at first, but I found a study method that really worked for me.

What I Did

I took the pre-assessment first open-book. I then uploaded the PA results to Claude.ai and asked it to quiz me on the concepts.

Here is what made it effective:

  • I uploaded my pre-assessment results and asked Claude to identify every concept I got wrong
  • Claude built quizzes specifically targeting my weak spots
  • Every time I got something wrong Claude explained WHY the correct answer was right and how to distinguish it from the wrong answers
  • When I kept missing the same concepts Claude drilled me on just those until they clicked.
  • I retook the pre-assessment with no open book to see my real improvement before attempting the OA

My Advice

  1. Take the pre-assessment first and treat every wrong answer as your personal study guide
  2. Don't just re-read the material — actively test yourself in multiple choice format
  3. When you get something wrong don't just memorize the answer, understand WHY
  4. Retake the pre-assessment without open book before your OA to find any remaining gaps
  5. Focus extra time on trade blocs, entry strategies, and financial institutions — they show up a lot
