I’m thinking about building a really large picnic table (10’) for my soon to be completed covered patio. I was thinking of an oval top similar to the one pictured, but extended a bit and with additional small attached benches at the ends for 1-2 people to sit at.

Potential drawbacks to this idea? Easier to just build the table and build the small bench seats separately? Anyone seen plans for something similar to this idea?
