I dislocated my patella two days ago in a very random freak accident (wasn’t playing sports), and now I’m in a Zimmer.

I have a trip to Japan booked and I leave on May 15. My ortho seemed to think that in that time I should be able to walk, but he said I wouldn’t have “100% of my mobility back”.

What is everyone’s experience? I’m considering cancelling my trip if I can’t walk semi-freely.
