Yellowing tips bonsai juniper chinesis

I’ve had this bonsai for about a year now. Earlier, when the weather became warmer and wetter, it started growing fresh green tips. Recently, though, those tips seem to be turning yellow. Is this a problem?. The bonsai has been outside the whole time. For watering i wait till the soil is dry but how much depends on the weather. It is outside in the sun so should get enough light throughout the day
