Should i swap my 3.42 gov lock diff for a 3.73? If so, how difficult/expensive would this be?

I do light towing occasionally and drive on the highway most the time. I just feel like my truck is sluggish and not at its full potential. I care about highway mileage as per why im not really looking into the 4.10’s. I might consider putting bigger tires on it but im not sure. Its my daily driving truck so will be driven a lot.

I never noticed this before. I changed my valve cover gaskets like 3-4 days ago and it didn’t really happen till yesterday. It goes away when i open the door, turn on the bright lights, lock the doors, or use the manual light switch to turn on/off my other lights.

After it goes away and the door is shut/no lights on in the truck, it comes right back after about 30 seconds.

Sometimes the bright indicator light will flicker and sometimes it will stay solid. It does this all throughout the night and it is rather annoying.

I should mention the battery is old and my voltage drops below 14 often while im driving/idle. I checked my alternator and its good, my battery needs a replacement but it still works. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

have a 2006 2.7L 4CYL tacoma. Its only got 119k miles on it. Its 2WD 4speed auto.

Its a great truck and runs good. I drove it 30mins to and from work everyday for a year now. Around me these will sell for $10k with 200k plus miles.

My concern on pricing is the frame. It definitely needs to be welded in some spots for it to be 100% safe as its super rusty (or a possible replacement of frame).

What would you pay for the truck?

I am asking $6,000 for it because like i said, 200k plus miles are selling for $10,000+ around my area.

There is also a little front end damage on the passenger side, its not major but definitely needs work on it.
