Saddle fell out of Guitar and there is glue in the bridge

I was restringing my guitar and needed to clean the fretboard, so I took all 6 strings off the guitar. I normally never do this and change them one by one. I have a gig tomorrow 🙃

When I did this the saddle fell out of the bridge which I know is pretty normal. The problem is that when I tried to put it back in it simply wouldn’t fit snug at all. I looked closer and realized there was a lot of dried glue still in the slot of the saddle.

I was given this guitar as a gift from someone else so I have never done this and I don’t think my repair guy did it because I’ve never had any issues with the saddle. After doing some short research I read that you should not glue saddles. In the past it usually fit in snug with the shape of the wood and pressure of pushing it in to the slot.

For reference the guitar I believe is a cheap Chinese guitar brand called Martic. Yes Martic with a C and has a big Star of David on the headstock. I can’t remember the exact model number so maybe they did it this way out of the factory but I don’t know. Ironically the guitar plays and sounds way above its pay grade so I really hope it’s not a big issue.

Anybody have any insight on how bad this is?
