Tourism Help?

I’m an American looking to go to Australia but I need some tips and advice.

Firstly, is going during June-September a bad idea. I don’t love being extremely hot, sitting in the beach and stuff, but I’d like it to be decent weather. I don’t want rain or extreme winds or such. I want to go to Sydney, Darwin for crocodile tours, and deciding between ningaloo coast or New Zealand.

Secondly, Is there anything you suggest for these locations? Is there something I need to see in Sydney besides the beaches, zoo, and opera house? With this, is the Great Barrier Reef cooler than ningaloo or does it depend on what you want to see/do while swimming and snorkelling?

Lastly, how long would you recommend I stay given the distances between these locations and stops required? (Sydney-Exmouth is about 12-13 hours according to Google with stops, so I’m not sure how to judge everything).

Any other tips or ideas would be appreciated!

I’m a recent B.S. Chemistry graduate. I need some other thoughts or ideas because I’m feeling naive. I’ve obtained about a 3.3 but every grade that’s dropped my gpa is unrelated, such as psych, geography, etc simply because I refuse to go to class and the attendance grades are close to 25% of the final grade. Never got an F or withdrew, so I’ve aced almost every test in these classes.

Background: I have taken about 2 years of graduate level chemistry courses. The classes were metals in medicine, medicinal chemistry, biochem, structural & physical biochem, organic chemistry of biological molecules, advanced organic chemistry (grad course), organic spectroscopy (grad course), and a genetic cloning lab. All but the 2 of these are cross-listed between undergrad/grad, so I get credit for the undergraduate class while taking the same exams, homeworks, held to the same grade scale as them and so on. Basically a graduate level course but without the credit.

I’ve done 2 years of extracurricular research in a synthetic organic chemistry lab, so I have some experience with synthesis. My end goal is to lead R&D teams for pharmaceutical or energetics/propellant chemistry.

Any advice, suggestions, ideas, or thoughts? I’m entirely open to be criticized for a low gpa or such, but I know I need a PhD for this, so I guess any recommendations?
