Hey everyone,

I’ve been building Tipsboard, an open-source, self-hosted knowledge base for teams that prefer linking notes together instead of organizing everything into deep folder trees.

The idea is to make team docs feel closer to a small Zettelkasten-style wiki: write Markdown pages in the browser, connect them with internal links and tags, and use backlinks / related pages to rediscover context later.

Some of the current features:

  • Markdown editor with autosave
  • Internal link completion
  • Tags, backlinks, outgoing links, and related pages
  • Search across page titles and bodies
  • Image uploads
  • Project members and permissions
  • Import / export
  • Realtime collaborative editing
  • English and Japanese UI
  • Self-hosted stack: React, FastAPI, PostgreSQL

It’s still under active development, so I’d love feedback from people who run their own wikis, internal docs, engineering handbooks, or personal/team knowledge bases.
