I have 25g of 24K Saudi gold bangles, 10+ years old. Since 24K is brittle, I want to exchange for 22K bangles.

Budget: Can pay 15-20k extra for GST + making charges of new bangles. Okay if new one is 2-3g less.

Issue: Kalyan Jewellers said final price only after melting, as "purity may change".

My doubts:

1. What could be bestest option to match my budget?

2. Is Kalyan Jewellers reliable for Saudi gold exchange?

3.Generally how much Saudi 24K purity drop after melting? Chances ?
