I thought I had finally figured out the trick to having nice nails, either builder gel, or a gel based glue for full coverage tips.

But after about 8 months of doing them once a month or so I developed a gel allergy 😭 I have since waited about a year and just did one nail with gel polish yesterday, not even the other stuff I used to use, and within an hour it was burning so off it came.

Has anyone had any luck with a regular type glue for press ons?

Regular polish either won't dry on my nails or one I have that does dry then chips within a few hours.
