In sign in and security I am trying to add a new phone number so that I can receive messages in iMessage. However to set this up, a verification code is required presumably sent through iMessage. OBVIOUSLY this isn’t possible since the phone number isn’t set up. I am losing my mind. Am I just being stupid?
