I think in order for the USMNT to be a world-class team, it needs a large pool of players who are elite and are not dual nationals. It needs to have elite academies.

But also US Soccer would need to broaden the appeal of the program. Politically divisive banners (and foreign flags) would need to go from MLS games in order to appeal to other groups of the American population. I think it would result in more talent available.
