I started this sock a couple years ago. I was free handing the pattern because I used to have a basic sock pattern that I could follow and alter from memory. But time makes fools of us all. Can anyone give me some guidance on what I was doing??? I have 33 stitches on the stitch holder where the heel will be, 33 stitches on the needles where the body of the sock is. I knitted about 3.5 inches on the body part. I have no idea what to do next. Was I doing a gusset? An afterthought heel? Bonus points if you can tell me what pattern I did for the cuff.
