This question was on my princeton review practice test, and it seems rlly in depth in physics terms, do we need to know physics that in depth? Also if anyone understands this question and answer pls share, im super confused, thank u in advance!!

We never learned trig substitution this entire year, and a question abt it came up on my princeton review practice test(attached below), do we need to know how to do this topic for the BC exam?

Do we need to memorize precalc identies like the double angle ones, half angle, etc for the bc exam?
