Is a 4.0 and 509 good enough for Texas osteopathic OOS?

I want to apply to the Texas osteopathic schools and I have a 4.0 and 509 MCAT, is it worth it? Do I have a shot at either of them? I’m out of state.

Stats for OOS acceptances to Texas DO schools?

Hi!! I’m so excited to apply this upcoming cycle-just a bit overwhelmed with trying to narrow down a proper school list.

I was looking at Texas osteopathic schools, I’m interested in the low tuition, but I know some have a 1-10% OOS acceptance rate. Would I have a shot at getting in to any texas schools?

(^ and also, if I went to a texas DO school would I have to take an additional Texas-specific licensing exam? I heard something about that)

Also, would I have a shot at scholarships for any other DO schools in general?

tldr: what DO schools would u recommend, and should I apply to Texas DO’s? and what are my odds at a Texas school?
