Acrylic source in US?

Just started playing with acrylics. I heard about Houston acrylic somewhere...looked them up and they seem to cost a bit more than Amazon. Is there product better (trying to figure out why I saw people recommending them)?

Is there another good US source for acrylics for laser?

Looking for input on cutting acrylic

K40 CO2 laser.

I recently cut out a new control panel for the laser, and this is what the edge of the cutout pieces look like. I'm guessing this isn't what the edge should look like.

Unit has air assist.

Do these rough edges indicate what I need to change?
