I have a pc built like 12 years ago, and it wasnt even state of the art then, but as I mostly play old school games its not an issue. But now, they baited me with the new Olden Era game, and it has higher requirements specifically in the graphics card department.
Now Im a complete n00b and to my eyes it seems like I strictly speaking only need to upgrade my graphics card, but maybe there follows that other stuff also would need to be changed?
In terms of budget, Im not interested in spending a lot or play AAA titles, but it would be nice to get a workhorse that will last a while without requiring much change. used market is fine.
Heres my current build:
CPU: Intel Core i5-6400 Skylake
Graphics card: MSI GeForce GTX 750Ti Gaming 2GB PhysX
RAM: DDR4 16GB
Storage: Samsung 750 EVO 250GB 2.5" SSD
Power: Corsair VS550, 550W PSU
Motherboard: MSI B150M Mortar Arctic (LGA1151)
