Hey everyone,
I’m honestly really stressed right now and I wanted to ask if anyone has been through something similar.
My Spotify account got disabled after I used some third party Spotify to WAV converter tools. After that, I got logged out of all my devices. When I tried to reset my password, Spotify said my email or username was not linked to an account, but when I tried to create a new account with the same email, it said an account was already registered.
I contacted Spotify support and they told me their fraud detection systems found unusual activity on my account and that they cannot re enable it.
What hurts the most is not even the account itself, it is my liked songs, playlists, and years of music history. That account basically had my whole music life on it.
I do not have an old data export, I do not have stats.fm or Last.fm, and I am logged out everywhere.
So I wanted to ask:
Has anyone ever been in this exact situation?
Was anyone able to recover their liked songs or library somehow?
Is there any realistic way to get that music data back, or is it completely gone?
I know I made a mistake using those third party tools, so I’m not trying to deny that. I just want to know if there is still any way to recover my songs.
Thank you.
