what's the difference between 385 (Independent Research) and 349 (Research Experience), aside from the number of semesters? i’m thinking of emailing the lab supervisor I’m currently volunteering with, but my understanding is that 349 might require a much bigger commitment from him. like creating an entirely new research project specifically for me. Is that actually the case?
