Just wanted to throw this out there—maybe it’s just been my personal experience, but I’ve actually been enjoying the new season.
I’ve run into very few bugs so far. The only consistent one I’ve noticed is my Bluescreen LMG losing audio while firing, which is annoying but not game-breaking. Other than that, things have been running pretty smoothly for me—I can activate lanterns without issues, and my DPS feels solid enough to take on ronin squads solo.
My playstyle has been pretty tactical: engage, lay down heavy fire, retreat, reposition, repeat—and it’s been working well. I’m also getting a decent amount of keys. It did drop a bit after the bug fix update, but I’m still averaging about 1 key every 3 squad encounters, which feels fair (even if it’s not the 1-in-2 rate we had before).
Early on, my only real complaint was that ronin kills were dropping a ton of green gear—it got repetitive fast, but it did make recalibration super easy. Now that it’s mostly gold gear dropping, that issue seems to have balanced out.
Overall, I get that people are having different experiences, but from my side, the season’s been solid and I’ve been having a good time with it.
