A little summary. After finding more character interactions and listening to voice clips so far, I can almost for certain confidently say everyone (except the villains of course) is Knuckles’s bestie in Crossworlds and as his fan, it genuinely makes me happy, is it a big deal? Nah not really, but at the same time, hell yes, cause for the longest time, usually he’s the one the majority of the cast targets for jokes, it’s always basically them calling him dumb or putting down his character in some way, been like this since the 2000’s, so it’s really refreshing hearing things more genuine, yeah, of course there’s banter, and I’m 99% sure they’re gonna tease him about something, but there’s also a lot of stern big brother/mentor and playful lines as well as calm and understanding quotes, and he also seems to respond to whoever is giving him respect, We know one of them is Shadow, he’s even impressed and says “Well struck, Knuckles!” If he hits him, and I can tell another one of them is Blaze cause of his princess line and he also is mentoring her to clear her head and focus on the race, he even gives her some props if she hits him/something, another is Espio cause- well- he drops his name, and he doesn’t fall for Eggman’s tricks, I’m just glad for this, man. But I also love Metal, became my favorite way back when watching Sonic OVA, and damn bro is getting rotisseried by everyone so far, I’m not gonna act like he’s hasn’t done anything, he is a villain, but even still, there’s the heroes AND the villains roasting him, Eggman and Sage get on him like he’s the unfavorite middle child 😭
