I keep seeing everyone on this page credit the “private” plane transfer from Oahu to lanai as such a perk for the hotel. Is the four seasons actually sending a legit private plane for some guests? The four seasons sent us on lanai air in a puddle jumper plane with 10 or so other people and the experience was anything but a private plane experience. For example they only allowed each guest to have one carry on (and it couldn’t be a roller bag). And they made me take items out of my tote bag because it was too heavy. And they sent some of our bags on a later flight because they didn’t have space lol. This was just a few months ago. Point is, if this is what they’re giving most people I don’t see how anyone could consider it a pro for the hotel…. If anything it was more of an inconvenience for us and we said next time we’d rather the water taxi from Maui.
