Hi! Dear redditros, please help me decide which camera i should get! Choosing between those two:
- Lumix S5, 760$, 25k shutter count and perfect condition. Insane specs for that price range, but i've heard really nasty things about AF
- Nikon Z6, 750$, 3k shutter count, almost new! Everything is good, but video specs are not looking that great compared to Lumix. Tbh, i was blown away by S5 video quality, so i'm leaning more onto his side.
(1) Budget, country, and currency: Ukraine, budget around 1800$ (i'm just a 18 yo guy, not a millionaire). Planning to focus more onto lenses, gear, light, so i simply cannot afford something like z5ii or even s5ii
(2) What equipment, if any, you have now and why is it no longer meeting your needs?: Old ass nikon P7100 that i bought for 50€ just for fun, after 2 years with that compact i understood that i want to try something much more serious and reliable, because photography is now my fav hobby. and this little compact limits me in every possible way, so...
(3) What kinds of subjects do you intend to shoot?: Landcapes, low light, astro, travel, overall basic things. Not interested in birds/sports/action if that matters.
(4) Is it primarily for photography, videography or both?: Both, 50/50 video and photo!
