game_msstore_ship & game_steam_ship errors!!!
Okay folks, I want to share/add this on here so that others who have been plagued with this error have another potential solution for their problems. I had this error for about a week. I have gone down the very long rabbit hole of "solutions" to where I wanted to put a hole in my PC. I was able to FINALLY find a solution that worked.
So to start off. To collect/list some of the solutions that I worked with that didn't work for me.
- Checking to make sure my PC is the most up-to-date updates.
- Checking the overclocking on my CPU.
- Validating the files on both Steam and the Xbox client.
- Purposely deleting shaders and other non-important files, running the repair tool for the game to reload potentially corrupted files.
- Turning off overlays from Steam, Discord, and Graphics drivers.
- Turning off the Xbox Game Bar.
- Running various game executables as Admin.
- Uninstalling the game and reinstalling it.
- Uninstalling the game AND the client it loads on (Steam / Xbox)
- Validating the storage location of the files to ensure they are on the same hard drive. (I know this sounds weird, but it's a thing sometimes)
I know there were a few more, but these are what I remember.
Okay so NOW to the part that actually worked for me!! Don't hate me cause I already hate myself for how SIMPLE this solution actually is.
All I did was go online to my graphics drive website and download the previous version of the driver. So the one that is NOT the newest like everyone says to ensure its "up-to-date"
