Looking for a crime fiction trilogy set in late 19th / early 20th century London, where each book’s title is just a year (e.g. 1888, 1889, 1890).

The covers follow the same visual pattern, featuring the year prominently.

Possibly connected to the Jack the Ripper era (around 1888).

I’m not sure if the years are consecutive or spaced apart, but they’re likely toward the end of the 19th century or the very beginning of the 20th.
