Hello Everybody
Since a while now i have my audi a4 b8 3.2 fsi quattro. Tho i have some problems, i have one that really gets on my nerves, because the whole Infotainment System isnt functioning.
So what happend, someday my Navigation Unit just stopped working. VCDS says the optical data bus is open. I diagnosed all the devices, and came to the conclusion, it must be "R36 Telephone transmitter R36 and receiver Unit", because i had water in the car, and this R36 Device ist right where the carpet is wet. So i tried to get it out, but it was a huge pain. i had to remove the Passenger seat just to get the carpet up a bit more, i couldnt get the most bypass out because it was stuck and i couldnt open the box where the R36 is in. Sometime the cable broke off, and i couldnt put the Most Bypass on there without it falling right off again. So now i have a Broken Most Cable, my MMI is still not working etc.
Did anybody ever work with this? Any tips of getting this thing out as a whole, and then fixing it?
also a second question, does anybody know where the water could come from? It only enters, when it rains maybe 4h+ and strongly. I have no roof window, and its only wet in the Drivers and Passenger seat Foot area.
I would be very glad for any help, im losing my nerves over this
