Trip soon, anemic frustration :(
Please give me all your tips and tricks for boosting your iron!!!!
I'm feeling really defeated as I have my first big trip in my life ever for my 30th in a few weeks (3 ish weeks. ) and I've been taking iron for months daily and still feel exhausted and fatigued, last time I checked I think my ferritin was around 12. But im going to recheck this week again, with also my thyroid.
This has been my daily routine. Two 30mg irons and 2 beef liver pills with vitamin c on empty stomach with water. (I also have ocd so I have to take certain pills and a certain way it's so frustrating.) And for food everyday I have veggies and some fruit and a stir fry from a cast iron pan, along with nuts and seeds and usually beef or fish.
I'm getting so worried that I'll need to cancel my trip because im so fatigued and itts been a 10 year mental health battle to get to the point where i can go on a big flight and travel.
Please give me all your tips and tricks!!!
