S1 screw close to end plate?

so I had L4-S1 PLIF 24th November, I was in hospital for a week and in my discharge notes it says that one S1 screw is close to end plate. And it doesn’t specify which side but since my surgery I’ve struggled with my left side. for the most part I cannot lay on my sides especially the left side for long, but the main issue is I get left sided lower back pain to the left of where my incision is. I’m not great at describing my pain it’s not everyday but most days it seems and it makes it hard to walk as movement makes it worse it’s always the left side. Sorry my description of all this is horrible but I’m just wondering if that could be due to a screw being close to the end plate or another issue? I’m not due to see my dr until October (there’s is literally no chance of seeing him before then unless I literally cannot walk and something is horribly wrong and even then that would be a trip to a&e not to see him. For the most part I can carry on with things but that’s because I’ve always just gone on with pain for the last 8 years I’m almost 21 so still young. This isn’t muscle pain or nerve pain. I’m still doing physio strengthen exercises and really am trying to pace myself each day but it feels like no matter how little I do the outcome is much the same. Anyway sorry for the ramble but my point is any advice or experiences to do with screws being close to an endplate? Obviously My pain and the screw being close may have nothing to do with each other I just wondered if anyone had any insight and things to look out for that are warning signs as the last dr I spoke to brushed it off.
