Transitioning to Qlaira

Seeking advice, 40 years old. I was put on Enanton injections with additional Activelle (HRT) for six months post surgery. I had a cyst on each ovary but no bowel endo or DIE. I was very tired for up to a week after very injection and it was affecting my mood. However, my IBS-D was better and I didn't experience as many flare-ups. As the injections felt harsh on the body and the goal of stopping menstruation had been achieved, I was put on the Qlaira combination pill. Since then I've had an increase in IBS flare-ups, and this weekend I wasn't able to do anything due to nausea, fatigue, and fever sensation. Today I'm off work, my body is exhausted. Only taking tablets for days 8-21.

I'm only three weeks in but panicking. Will I have to endure a six month trial period of this again?! I'm out of other options as I've tried most methods. I try to be patient but I feel like the symptoms are limiting me and keeping me from what I want to do.

- Anyone with similar experiences with Qlaira or switching to another hormone medicine? How long did it take for your body to adjust to it?

- Any tips for getting relief from nausea, fatigue, loose BM?

I'm familiar with Low FODMAP and anti-inflammatory diet but it hasn't done anything to relieve my symptoms over the years. Neither have supplements (I've worked with several dieticians). Currently taking psyllium husk.

Grateful for any help/support. Be well 💛
