Bowl of Gumbo, Frankie & Johnny's (New Orleans). Super dark, great flavor, but sorely, sorely lacking in meat.

Maiden was the first band I loved. I'm 55, so I discovered them just after Piece of Mind came out, 12 years old. That, and Number of the Beast were my go-to albums from 82-85 (much to the chagrin of my Born-Again Mother). Then Powerslave came out, and Maiden was officially my band.

I got out of Metal and into Punk in the late 80s, and Maiden & Metallica were the only bands I listened to in this time. Sadly, I stopped listening after 7th Son, as I was too far into Punk to listen to Metal at that point.

Watching 28 Years Later recently, I got the Maiden bug (OK, Mid-Life Crisis)and listened to EVERY MAIDEN album up to 7th son. It was amazing how familiar those songs were to me, despite not hearing them for FOUR DECADES. I was never a big Paul DiAnno fan, but Drifter became my (new) favorite Maiden song it was so Punk. My nostalgia worked too well as I got a speeding ticket (65 in a 40), while listening to Aces High driving through Wells, TX two weeks ago.

Anyways, I'm putting together a Playlist of ALL MAIDEN songs, and am looking for recommendations for songs after 1990, about the time I stopped listening. To be clear, I will be listening to ALL post 1990 Maiden albums, but am looking for tracks that Maiden fans highly recommend so I can give them a special listen. If you have time, please drop your favorite tunes.

UP THE IRONS!!
