My entire family is coming into town this summer as I am celebrating a milestone birthday. There are a lot of non-drinkers and picky eaters in this crew of 8-9 people, so planning a week's worth of activities has been an undertaking.
A hiking day was requested by one of my relatives. However, my dad is 70 with the knees of a 90 year old, and my sister has a neurological condition with balance and vertigo issues, so I need ideas for easy hiking trails in the general area. Easy trails with no rocks. Like, somewhere you could take grandma.
Due to a lot of restrictions in this group, most of the activities will be taking place outside of Napa. We are comfortable with a 1 - 1.5 hour drive outside of Napa. I've never been, but a coworker recommended Angel Island since it is a state park and therefore needs to be ADA compliant.
Majestic Norcal views are a plus. Most of them are coming from Michigan and Florida. But my dad really stressed the no rocks thing.
I've got a lot of the rest mapped out - Bodega Bay, Safari West, Muir Woods (not my suggestion but they really really want to do it). But any additional ideas are welcome!
