I live in Maryland and am blessed with a great number of farm breweries that have amazing views. These places cannot be enjoyed though on a Friday night because of all the idiots that bring their kids to them. These are not respectful quite kids or parents that keep their kids in line. These are parents that let them loose and in many cases, drink their own beer out of coolers. The brewery staff is too busy to police such things. I will add that I have kids of my own, 20 and 24. Never did I bring them to a brewery though. It is a complete epidemic here in Maryland. My wife is a teacher so this is even worse for her. I honestly, for the life of me, have no idea why a person would want to bring them, let alone allow them to annoy the rest of the people trying to relax and have a beer. Are Americans completely ignorant to how this effects others experience? We used to go out every Friday evening but we have almost stopped completely because it's just not relaxing. I don't blame the kids at all. They are having the time of their life, but parents on the other hand...Take a cooler to the local park!

What does everyone propose.

  1. Let management know you are done until they stop allowing children?

  2. Confront the parents directly?

  3. Start complaining on the google reviews and facebook pages?

2 and 3 feel like being a Karen and that isn't me.
