First timer. Blood but no pain, out of town until the end of the week. Ride it out and hope for the best?
Hey all! Looking for some advice from those who have been here before.
I am in a completely different state on the other side of the country for a job. Just landed yesterday and had blood in my urine so went to the ER. After a scan they told me I have a 5mm kidney stone moving through my ureter.
I have no pain or symptoms at all except for the blood. The ER doctor seemed rather shocked at that. They gave me some Flomax and sent me on my way. I'm currently back at work feeling fine. My urine is still pink.
I've been browsing the subreddit on different experiences and side effects of the Flomax.
I'm thinking that I hold off on the Flomax unless things get bad, drink a shit ton of fluids, cross my fingers and hope for the best. My flight back home isn't until Friday morning.
Is this a horribly stupid idea? Any tips or ideas?
