Just got an EV last month and I’m happy with it. Initially Go Solar told us we will be needing 6KWh setup + net metering with 4 split type aircon, 1 refrigerator. Ave meralco bill is ranging from 6-8k PhP monthly.

Now that we’ve added an EV the bill jumped to 12K PhP (not sure if it’s just because it’s summer). What should be the setup if we plan to go with battery instead of net metering.

Our goal is to lessen the bill. Brown outs are rare in our province.
