Here is a picture of my current program:
I used to be a competitive Olympic weightlifter, and have been lifting for 10 years now, but I've been more sedentary and lifting very infrequently for the last 2.
I spent the last 6 months learning Muay Thai and getting back in shape. This program is doable in my current shape, but I'm a bit sore all the time and constantly hungry.
My main question is, how should I manage training stimulus and recovery to make sure my training is effective and won't lead to injury? I don't have an intuition for anything that isn't weightlifting/powerlifting in terms of overtraining or proper stimulus / recovery.
Also, are ice baths beneficial for me in this sport?
