Question about changing accounts
Newbie here. I started a Roth IRA this year with a SOFi that was recommended online. It has a 1% contribution match.
I’ve received an offer from Ally to start a Roth IRA with them with a 3.5% contribution match.
Can I open an account with Ally and move the funds from my SOFi IRA and then close the SOFi account? Will there be a penalty or tax implications?
