Of course the year we cant afford to buy produce because a 5lb bag of potatoes is $8 and a bell pepper is $3 we have the worst drought in history and water use has been restricted, not that anything was actually growing on irrigation, just surviving day after day of hot sun, zilch humidity, and wind. I can't even grow my food.

This is so discouraging yall.

In Charlotte, NC escaped Phyllostachys aurea along the creek system is in flower throughout the city. Is anyone in other areas noticing a heavy bloom of this species?
