I picked up this job like two weeks ago. And then spoke to the teacher I was covering for in the teachers lounge two days ago and she assured me that everything would run smoothly and that the kids were great and that all the assignments were on Canvas. Well now, the Canvas system has been down since yesterday, the assignments can’t be accessed, and district leadership is making their rounds today. And to put the cherry on top, I fell going up the stairs before the first bell rang. Need this day to be over with and the only thing that’s keeping me going is the promised pizza they have in the library during lunch. 🫠
