Why is Turing such a hot mess??
Listen, I am beyond frustrated with this nonsense of a company. Everything urgent urgent urgent with 5 follow up emails within not even 12 hours. Payrate is below market value for a STEM PhD with $40/hr for US based. Project lead is unresponsive, does not speak proper English. Project was put on hold over a week ago, no communication since. Several people did not get paid. People also followed up about the project ending because once you are in an active engagement with them you are blocked from applying to any other position. Project lead now claims the project has ended a while back, yet everybody is still blocked in an active engagement with them. Eh bro? Maybe your English comprehension is not advanced enough to understand what the problem is... either way I am out and will stick to my other $100/hr+ contracts.
