Rating: 8.5/10

-There are so many references and scenes they recreated from the first movie. I’m a fan of the original. I’ve watched it plenty of times so every scene reminded me of it. Even the ending is almost the same lol, if you know, you know.

-I’m not used to seeing Miranda Priestly smile more in the second film. Maybe it’s because the Emilys are no longer her employees and she has to follow stricter labor laws. She’s become a bit kinder here compared to the first film.

-It’s super inclusive. You can see all races and representation in the film.

-I still prefer the fashion statements from the first film. Miranda Priestly’s style was clean, simple, yet elegant. The tassel coat is still kind of cringe though. The outfits here are more colorful and heavily printed. I was expecting something classier like in the first film, timeless looks that don’t feel outdated no matter what time period you watch them. They did feature some brands in the film; I just wish they were given a better wardrobe overall.

-I like how Miranda is still one step ahead of everyone, and Nigel got the closure he deserves.

-The real antagonist in the movie is unexpected lol. I didn’t see that plot twist coming.

I still get giddy over the fashion scenes, and Miranda is still so cool but I wish she had a bit more edge or more sass haha.

-I wish Andy had a better leading man maybe someone like Henry Golding, Ian Somerhalder, Brandon Sklenar, Chad Radwell, or even Regé-Jean Page.

-I wish the plane scene had just been a deleted scene.

I will absolutely watch it again. I will still buy the dvd once it is out.

I love the cameos in the film.
