I’ve been experimenting with a different way of recommending movies.

Instead of genres, I’m trying to match films based on:

• the structure of the story
• the feeling they leave you with

For example:

• Inception → that “lost in layers of reality” feeling
• Whiplash → obsession + pressure + psychological intensity

I’ve been testing this approach and getting some interesting (and sometimes unexpected) matches.

Trying to see where this works and where it completely breaks—especially with niche or indie films.
