Looking for a Co-Author: One Piece OC Story (Cherry Blossom Swordswoman)
Genre: Fanfiction, Adventure, Action, Shonen
Fandom: One Piece
About the Story:
This is a canon-divergent/OC insert story following Layla Evan, a wandering swordswoman who carries the essence of the Cherry Blossom (Sakura) in her blade. Accompanied by her sharp-witted, talking pet rabbit, Ava, Layla crosses paths with the Straw Hat Pirates during their first voyage in the East Blue—specifically at the moment she is first met by Luffy.
Plot Kernel:
Unlike a typical rescue, Layla isn't just a damsel in distress. She might be a lone wolf used to surviving by her wits and speed, wielding a unique sword style that mimics falling petals (quick, precise, and beautiful). Ava, her rabbit companion, acts as the brains of the duo—snarky, cautious, and constantly trying to keep Layla out of trouble (with little success).
Luffy, being Luffy, takes an instant liking to her either because she has good food, a weird animal, or simply because she "looks interesting." The story would explore:
The Integration: How does a Cherry Blossom sword style fare against Devil Fruit users?
The Rabbit: Ava acts as a translator or "straight man" to the crew's chaos.
The Timeline: Following the Straw Hats from the East Blue through the Grand Line.
What I’m Looking For in a Co-Author:
· Knowledge of One Piece: You don't need to know every chapter number, but you should understand the core personalities of the crew (Luffy's instinct, Zoro's directionless loyalty, Nami's greed with a heart of gold, Sanji's chivalry).
· Writing Style: Semi-lit to Lit. I’m looking for someone who enjoys writing action scenes (sword fights specifically) and witty dialogue.
· Role: I can handle the plot structure and Layla’s backstory. I need someone who can write the Straw Hats authentically, help with fight choreography, and co-write dialogue to keep the crew in character.
Deal Breakers:
· No god-modding (controlling my OC Layla or Ava without permission).
· Must be willing to plot via DMs on Quotev before we start publishing chapters.
for the "mascot" spot?).
Let’s set sail and make the Grand Line a little more floral!
