Mounting skateboard to motorcycle?

hey now! just got my first motorcycle recently and ive been riding to the park with my board through the straps of my backpack. this doesn't feel very safe or practical. anybody got advice on how the strap their boards to their bikes?

ps i dont have any sissy bar (yet) and i have saddle bags im not really trying to take off to get a mount.

Just got my first bike ( 07 750 spirit) and it’s pretty dirt. I plan on washing it sometime soon when it’s not raining out. When I do that will any of the spots on pic 2 (on the pipes and some other lower chrome parts) wash away? And if not what can be done to remove them. Also is there anything that can be done about the rust spots in pic 1?
