What should a out of towner know about the rave scene in LA. I'll be there throughout the first week of May, and I've never been before. I'm from the northeast where we hippies and wooks rave in big warehouses and the woods and love dubstep, melodic hardstyles, camping, community, and we're huge on PLUR (peace love unity respect). I'm used to a friendly, safe, loving community where everyone you know makes music and super nice. The rave wear is eccentric, weird, colorful, handmade, and everyone wears kandi and hands out kandi. What is LA like? I'm thinking of buying tickets to CORE LA. Where else should I go? What else is happening? Where are the afters? How to stay safe as a female solo raver in LA
