Y1 NP Banking and Finance. I chose this course because I was recommended this route by teachers and family friends, aligning with my interest for finance, flexibility to take on internship during breaks, and go to uni for biz provided I score well. My O level was L1R5 nett 11 and since I would’ve done science stream if I went JC, given the stories I heard about CJC’s science department I opted for my original choice of poly instead. However during first 2 weeks of poly, I couldn’t help but… FOMO seeing all my classmates in JC (most ppl from my sec school went JC; a lot went to top 5). I guess I’m also feeling some fear that I could’ve actly done well in A level system after grinding and getting used to O levels and instead put myself in poly system to do one extra year for no reason. It also didn’t help that I was recently told that actly TMJC is not bad and that I didn’t do my research on JCs well enuf before choosing poly. I guess if I have to look at it objectively, I could probably do js as well in both; pros and cons adjusted for potential best outcome weighing each other out, but… idk I js feel unsettled being in poly. It’s a last resort thought but I’m even thinking about the potential idea of dropping out after 1st sem and trying to apply JAE to TMJC with my O level results, going into TMJC J1 as an ‘09. Honestly I js needed to rant abt this becos I’m rlly feeling vry uneasy abt the decisions I made.
