I am a 50 y/o female and began getting erosive canker sores down the left side of my tongue and inner cheek. Originally dx as infection but antibiotics didn't help, they resolved after about 6 weeks. I now have them for the 5th time and no one has an answer. My PCP thought maybe viral so prescribed valcyclovir, that didn't work either. I am a non smoker with no other dental issues. I am frustrated and in pain, any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
