My 15 week old is breastfeed, with the odd bottle of expressed milk sometimes. We combo fed for the first 5 weeks as he couldn’t latch but EBF since then. Basically, the last week or so, he is awake every hour hungry. During the day, he never goes longer than 1.5 hours. He gets frustrated at the breast and cries/fusses during his feeds. I assume a flow problem maybe? But my supply seems fine. I have tried breast compressions, different positions, etc, but I am beyond exhausted. I’m visiting family for the bank holiday weekend and took a bottle of ready made formula as a backup (couldn’t bring my frozen stash and can’t guarantee I’d pump enough on top of him feeding every 1.5 hours) and had to give him a 4oz(!!!!) top up Saturday evening, this was after a full breastfeed. I pace fed the bottle only adding 1oz at a time to it and he kept crying for more. Basically cleared the 4oz and had the best sleep of his life. I feel so guilty for now considering weaning him off at 4 months.
