I submitted a supplemental request a couple weeks ago with new medical evidence/records after an initial claim denial back in October for IBS which stated I did not have a formal diagnosis. I submitted copies of all of the gastro medical and blood test results and colonoscopy records from my primary care provider that I have done and gone through the past few months after my original claim denial to get a formal diagnosis. I just got a letter for records request for my PCP.

Since I already submitted all of the relevant records, test results, etc. that are only specific to IBS diagnosis, will it hurt my supplemental claim if I don't return the records request authorization? Or is it just better to submit it even though I already sent them everything? They already have my prior medical records they got from the original claim that at least show a longitudinal history of IBS complaint , so there really isn't else pertinent to IBS that I didn't already submit.
