thoughts on my startup so far with the idea of tanking for ‘27? I already have 3 firsts next year including my own
this is my team halfway through 13 rounds of the startup draft. like I said I have 3 ‘27 firsts including my own at the current moment, with plans to acquire more. every single other team in the league is drafting to win now, this team looks as a team that will score the least for now - with plans to take best value for the rest of the draft and trade any producing players to turn them into future value (aka the meyers selection). will likely wait until the season to trade off some of those guys for the highest possible value. i’ve never done this before personally but ive watched people do this in a few dynasties that im in and each time it has worked out insanely well. from my experience the future firsts just become so overvalued especially during draft time, with ideas to trade the picks probably right before the draft for well known stars. what do you guys think? I know there are people who are against this so I want to hear why, and for the people who agree with me how am I doing so far and any tips?
